- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I would like to thank everyone at Lakeside Veterinary Hospital (both campuses in Energy and Carbondale) for being so quick and kind to work my sudden collection of cats in for treatment over the last several months. For starters, I am a "dog person." However, lost or stray felines have been showing up at my new home over the last year. Drs. Poe and Verbeck, and their entire team, have been thorough and patient with me as a person with zero (ZERO) "cat experience." I am especially grateful that the offices in Energy and Carbondale work so well together. In one instance, while our care began in Energy, the overnight care and emergency follow up care happened at the Carbondale location, since the Carbondale location is open seven days a week. Furthermore, the fact that I am not charged an exorbitant "emergency" fee is a breath of fresh air. These clinics offer kind, compassionate AND cost-effective care. My family and I are very pleased.
